Here's why...

Wondering why you should blog? Check out this video that tells the story of Naomi, aka Fanaile Essence, winner of last year's Blogging for Progress Scholarship.

Naomi filmed footage of herself in her home in El Paso using a webcam. Sound design by Scott R. Lewis in Emeryville, California. Graphics by Catherine Kelley. Voice over by Max Louis, an SFSU freshman from Larkspur, California. Produced and directed by Paul Hernandez of San Francisco, CA.

Questions or comments about the video are welcome. To answer just a few up front: Yes, Naomi is a real person. Yes, she really did write the blogs mentioned. Yes, the numbers mentioned are the real numbers.

In fact, there are now over 40,000 of you blogging like Naomi on ProgressiveU, and some have had even more reads than Naomi. You CAN make a difference, and people WILL listen.
