Would you and the other millions of viewers like you tune into the Sopranos every week if it wasn’t filled with boobs every time that Tony is in the strip club or is cheating on his wife? That is a good question, and one that should be asked but seldom is. When does “Sex on TV” go too far? How much sex is needed to make a drama or any show more interesting?
I’m sitting at my computer watching season 2 of Frisky Dingo laughing my ass off and I decide to take a break. Then it hits me: I watch a lot of cartoons. My iPod is filled with Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Venture Bros, I’ve downloaded the 2 seasons of Dilbert, and I find myself watching the cartoons I liked when I was a kid.
Having had the television on all weekend, I noticed that many commercials are now all in Spanish. I am watching basic cable here, not the Spanish speaking channels. From the images on the commercials I can understand what product they are advertising, but their presence as interruptions for all English programming is quite alarming.
I had actually wrote this blog ages ago, but it was around the time my computer just died on me, and I couldn't recover it. I've just now had time to sit down and rewrite it.
Sometimes I wonder if people really give any thought to how they spend their lives. How they spend each day, each hour. Most of us (kids, teens and young adults atleast) are content to sit on the couch and watch television. We love video games like Halo and Grand Theft Auto where, like in many virtual games, you go around killing people and blowing things up.
I was watching TV one day. Nothing in particular, just the TV Guide Channel. Of course apparently they have TV shows on the TV Guide Channel. At first I didn't mind this so much, but sometimes things get a bit... aggressive? Like The Surreal Life; now that's just insane! I can't even begin to tell you how shocked I was to hear "What the hell!" plain as day.

annoying voice. laugh track. annoying voice. laugh track.
another voice. annoying voice. laugh track.
ALL within a minute.
The government is targeting and controlling the minds of children in order to make itself seem flawless. They are attempting to erase the black mark of the Bush regime.
