For the past several months, I have been working on a new self-help book for young adults and adults. It's a mix between motivational and practical. The whole purpose of the book is to give my readers a jolt of hard-hitting inspiration to achieve their goals.

Christianity: an Inhibitor to Human Development

I have never had a green thumb, or any interest in getting one. I've lived at my house for about a year and a half and happened to notice how well things grew. I have a rosebush in the backyard I haven't touched, but blooms nonetheless. A different type of rose blooms by the driveway. I have pretty blue flowers that bloom around my mailbox.

Over the weekend I took my first steps towards my new adventure, college orientation. I showed up not knowing what to expect, except complete awkwardness; I didn't know anyone who would be there.

Those nasty, bad Muslims started the tradition. Those nasty, bad black people started the tradition. Those nasty, bad homosexuals started the tradition. Those nasty, bad Mexicans started the tradition.

It is so weird how money can make people go mad. Financial insecurity has been the number one cause of my stress, and I think many people are in the same boat. Everywhere I go I am hearing about everyone's concern for the economy and what a sting this recession is giving them. People spread the anxiety like a virus.
