Obama vs McCain

In my politics and government class we are watching the first presidential debate and analyzing what is said. I consider myself a McCain supporter and a conservative (probly because both my parents are very conservative) but also because not that i neccesarily agree with McCain 100 percent but on certain issues i disagree with Obama alot. For instance: Obama wants to raise taxes on all businesses, but what about the small businesses that are almost failing because of how high taxes are right now? My dad owns a small business himself and he could not afford to keep it open this whole summer. He just recently reopened and is trying to break even, maybe make a profit. If taxes are raised my dad will be forced to sell his business, that he has had for twenty years, and both my parents will be unemployed... How is that helping the economy? I agree that tax cuts need to be made but Obama needs to think about the small "Main Stree" businesses and how they are doing before taxing the. They are owned by middle class americans.
On the other hand i believe that McCain has been very unclear about his plan to help the economy. He wants to create more jobs. Thats great who doesnt. The only thing i really got from his answer to the debated question was that he wanted to change loans on businesses.
On a side note i would like to point out that any time Palin slips up she is immediately execrated and denounced but when Biden said that Roosevelt was president at the start of the great depression nothing was said... i mean come on.. even i know that... I really wish the media wasnt so one sided.
