I don't know about any of you, but I have major issues applying to scholorships. It seems theres always one thing to rule me out of eligibility. Maybe I don't have a migrant farmwork past, or Im not going to USC. All I know is the schorships I apply to often offer less then $1000.00. For those I have to take a picture of my pampered pooch. Seriously I have a decent GPA, I have extracurricular activities, I volenteer, and I work hard in school... I don't have three days to brainstorm and write a five page essay on why I'm American and include details of documents tracing back to the seventeen hundreds. Hey this very blog is homework for my living on your own class. I do have a life beyond school and work, don't get me wrong, but it would be nice if schlorships were a little easier to apply to. I thank www.fastweb.com for showing me 73 schlorships im eligible to... but half of them are for graduating seniors, someone already enrolled in college, and other things that don't apply to me. Oh well...I guess things never change. I suppose I should just make the best of it...maybe I'll actually win something for this... I'll be blogging every day now! ;)

I'm tired of the whole scholarship race as well. They're hard, and I really don't have the energy. Fortunately, this one is fun and stimulating at the same time. I'm blogging all the time.

You might have better success if you make sure all your words are spelled correctly. And try local scholarships, or some search engine other than Fastweb.

Agreed blogging is fun. i had never blogged before until i was introduced about the blogging for progressive scholarship. i must say it is addictive.
i definitely know what you mean about all these scholarships that are time consuming. Honestly, i just want this year to be over with.
