Biased Media

The moderator at the VP should have been dismissed before the VP debate. She has a stake in the success of the election. I mean if Obama wins then her book does well. That to me stinks worse than rotten cabbage. It is not fair.
You look at how the media treat the Democratic canditates. They treat them with easy peasy kid gloves. You never seen so much brown nosing inmy life time. I mean it is like they bend over backwards to give a good interview. If it is a Republican forget it.
Yet in many states, politics means if you on the wrong side that you might find yourself facing Justice in court. Look at what happens in Alabama with a former Governor. It is total biased. You look at what is happening with the Palin probe. It is partisan because of somene on the panel.
In AK, that trooper shoudl be fired. If he was drinking on the job he should have been fired. If he hunted illegally then he is bad. Tasering a kid is bad especially if its his stepson. What if he did make thoise threats? I know the State troopers are part of the detail.
The guy who was fired was also resisting on his job on other matters. He did what he pleased and he deserved to get fired.
The newest Obama Ad attacks Sen mcCain connection tot he keating scandal. The only reason hes doing it because of attacks of Obama association with William Ayers (who is a unrepenant radical who was involved ina domestic terrorist group called the Weather Underground). This is a disgusting process.
I want to remind to check if you want to vote then to check to see if this is your last day to register to vote. In Georgia and other states that it is. So vote. Do not receive help form outside groups to ge tto the polls. They may try to get you to vote a certain way. There is public transportation in many places to get to your voting booth.
I suspect we are going to have acts of vandalism when someone is being driven to the polls to keep the votes out.

Gwen Ifill's book is not going to be released until inauguration day and she has not written the chapters on Obama yet. She is waiting to see what happens with this election so it will be accurate.

She is an African American journalist who has been reporting on politics for decades. Why shouldn't she write that book? Her book is not ABOUT Obama. It is about African American politicians and the political climate of our times.

I totally agree. It's really annoying to see the ridiculous amount of bias in today's media. I can't believe that more people don't recognize this and question the validity of the media more. Thanks for the insightful blog post!

My family says the same thing. "What?! They have some far-leftist liberal moderating?!" Why don't they have a Republican-conservative moderate once and a while? That would at least show that they're trying to keep the moderator out of the debate and allow the debatees to discuss issues.
And another thing that drives me nuts - people asking and making sure that you vote. Even though their job is to reigster you to vote, they still try to get you to vote Democrat. I want to say to those people, "Yes, I'm registered to vote. But I vote brass-collar Republican, so Im not sure how much good I'll do for your cause!"

If obama isnt elected the book is not worth as much as if he does get elected. That is the problem

She's not writing a book about the success or failure of Obama. She's writing about the state of African American politics as it stands, whatever happens.
