OK, this is packed with questions, a philosophical thought, and well, an issue.
For one, THIS IS A VERY BIG ISSUES!!!! Talking of symbolism, aside from the symbolisms brought on my the churches, etc, I have my own form of symbolism to deal with. UGH!!!! I can't hand anything of my own to my mother, and sometimes I get too nervous about hadning things to others, because all my life my ACTIONS, not the things I gave her but my ACTIONS were always criticized by my mother. I don't even knwo if SHE knows what she did. For instance, I never got the ice cream I deserved from my report card because IF she thought the grades were good enough (I rarely got anything lower than a B, once I got a C and that was too low) she thought the conduct wasn't. It was never ending for her. That's just one example, I don't have time to dig into the subconscious and pull all this stuff out, it's crazy. SOOOOO, how would a scientologist deal with something like that? Or even just a normal person??? Would they just turn in random things, would they make it worse by rejecting MORE, would they just focus on how they trait their OWN child, or is there some other answer that might be best? Just curious.
ALSO, another question, at what level does a scientologist learn to help other scientologists? Or is it all up to the seaman (or whatever they are called) to deal with the church stuff??? I haven't read anywhere that talks about that stuff.
LOL! Something funny though, I have a friend that thinks scientology is based around a bookstore. One guy thought it was all about money and this girl thinks its all about a books store. THey are missing the symbolism here, they just haven't seemed to research enough. NO, that's about what its NOT about. In the conventional Christian church, although the writings talk about specific profits and saviors and a God, the bible repeatedly also states to only worship God and that God is everything, an imminent being that cannot be described in physical form, although we were made in his image. SOO, the church just exemplifies that point.
BUT, when you are a male and you hand a woman a book full of your thoughts (something you found interest in reading all on your own) then you are giving that woman a part of you, essentially it's psychological adultery unless you are married to her, or you are not married and that's the woman you INTEND to marry.
Love you lots,
