So many people today cannot afford heathcare. This is very disturbing to me because if health care is this expensive now. Then what is the cost going to be, when I become elderly. There are so many countries like Canada and France that pay nothing or next to nothing for their medication. So, whats happening here in America. Truth is many members of the white house including George W. are getting paid to keep their mouths shut. Yet, we can fund a war that will never end. A war over oil and opium for that matter. What's wrong with us, have we gone mad? What about those Taliban and Al Quada leaders who get free medicine at Guantamano Bay? We, pay enough taxes to fund fourteen countries. We, have jobs in Mexico, Canada, Japan, China, but few here. I say it's time for a Revolution. We need to get that clown out of office and back on his farm. He does not care about us, can't you see he only cares about himself and his wallet. Wake up America. I need health care and you need healthcare so lets get through college get out there and show them who's boss.

You're absolutely right. Too many are suffering without adequate health care. The entire health care industry is run by the insurance companies and the premiums are through the roof.
Actually, this isn't a solution, but it helps a little bit in the meantime...There's a website called Carol.com that helps you shop around for health care in your area. It lists the prices of tests and procedures at area doctors and clinics so you can pick the best deal. The transparency this has brought to the market has led to the lowering of some prices, as the higher priced clinics were losing money to the bargains.

Thank you for providing the name of this website! Also, just be careful as sometimes you do get what you pay for in the field of medicine. There are a lot of tests that will be the same everywhere, but there are others that can be more accurate depending on the equipment used. For more critical things, always research the testing and condition and ask questions about which methods the lab will use.

We would have save much money if not because of this immigrants, they are given free health care by our government. What about those who are native in our country? no free? damn this government.

I'm pretty sure, unless you're a Native American, that at one point in time at least one member of your family immigrated here from another country. And guess what? They were looked at as scum in their time, too. I'm sure my Irish-immigrant ancestors worked for far less money than other people. While I may agree that you can't selectively distribute health care, I don't think you can say that some people don't deserve it because they are from another country.
I have been lucky enough to not have to experience such troubles. Public Health Care is probably the best thing we have here in Canada.
Health Care should be a right as a citizen, not a privilege to the rich.
