Oh to the days that the country actually was fully in politics. Those were the days when men and women would contribute to the politics by voicing their concern's to the men and women that run the country.
Nowadays this is no longer the case anymore. In an age when politics is on our televisions and at our fingertips 24/7, the voting percentage is still going down! Why is this? A big reason for this is because people do not seem to 100% agree with a candidate. What?! Is this your only reason? Sometimes those people who do not vote have an even lamer excuse like "I had too much to do that night." or "I just didn't feel like voting."
This is one of the few countries where we can elect our leader and a lot just seem to ignore this privilege. They say they do not fully agree with a candidate, but that is impossible to do so. A person can never fully agree with a matter with anyone on this planet. You have to choose the one you MOST agree with. And that may happen to be in a different party than the Republicans or the Democrats. Don't be afraid to go outside the two party system, venture out and listen to the independents as well!
And if you do not vote, do not complain about the elected leaders! It is one thing to vote and complain because you have the right to! If you don't vote but still complain then you should have voted. It is just principle to me.
Voting Is Your Right to Complain
