My last day of high school was April 25th. I am recently employed at a diner as a dishboy. I have IB tests from May 5th until May 16th. I have orientation from May 28th until the 29th. My graduation party is on June 14th. My 18th birthday is on July 22nd. I start college in the fall.
What do I plan on doing in college?
I am going into Spanish (and secondary education).
I've tested into the highest class as I possibly can, but tomorrow I am calling the university to see if I can get into a class higher than Spanish 215 somehow.
I need to start thinking about what else I would like to be certified in for teaching as well, because I know that having just one is not as ... marketable.
I love art. I couldn't do it in high school. I'm not going to have time or money to do it in college. Certification in teaching would take too long since both Spanish and Art are K-12 programs. I guess it will just have to be a hobby now.
There are ASL classes at my college under communications but there is no certification program there. Maybe I will go to the community college that does have it over the summer if I can afford it. I almost became permentally deaf/Deaf as a child so the idea of ASL has been greatly stuck in my head. I think having a better grasp of ASL would be important for me personally and as a general idea.
I mean, I have what I want narrowed down but there are two other things that are greatly important to me that might just get sidelined. I don't know what to do with that even though I know I can't do everything. It's just kind of a boogling thing.
