Gah, we have it every contest folks and now it is happening again. What I like to call, the nonprogressive, God blog. Seriously folks, write something progressive. Knocking off new posts so you can tell us how much you love God is really very annoying. I'm glad you believe what you believe, but c'mon, I don't need to read Bible verses I read in church, when I am trying to talk about progressive topics.
"But this is progressive."
Yes, about as progressive as me shoving my foot up someones ass. It is painful because it shows that either you are way, way to enamored with God, or you have a lack of understand about a website devoted to discussion, not preaching. So please, put the, "We need to fall behind God", back into its basket. If you're going to write about God, make it progressive, not a declaration of faith. I have to listen to that at church every Sunday, and I don't want to read it while trying to make a difference...a difference that can be seen, not one that we believe is happening when it clearly is thanks to something seeable.
I understand this is a free country and website, but there are rules about progressive writing, not declarations of your faith. If you want to do so, make it progressive like some of our Pagan, Jewish, Muslim writers have done...because really, is it that hard of a concept to understand?
