Gas Prices at an all time high! ! ! ! almost four dollars!! everything is so expensive. Is this economy in a recession or is it going towards a recession? are we going to have another great depression?
these are questions that i ask myself whenever i hear news about the united states economy. i always wonder what the future will be for this economy. is this just another bump in the road? or will it get better?
many people in the united states are confused about the current economic status. i read an article in the new york times that talked about the current economic status of the united states. the reporter asked economists to explain to him the current economic status of the country. overall, they could not explain. they were confused themselves. maybe in the future , we can see what the status really is/was.
factors that may contribute to this "slumping economy":
gas prices(oil companies get richer by the minute)
taxes (give the working class a break!)
job wages
housing (rent, mortgages)
debt(credit, people should not spend more than they owe)
wall street(risky stocks, more like gambling)
saving(some people hesitate in spending a lot)
and many more
the current status is unknown. there is hope yet.
