Almost all the way through the semester, and by now you should have a basic idea of what is exected of you in any given class that you are taking. You know if you are going to need to bring lots of extra paper or if you can probably get your homework done from spanish during your english lecture. Its at this point that if you forget a pen one day its understandable but, if you honestly can be heard to say on a regular basis "I don't have a pen, can I borrow yours? I didn't know I'd need one" its time to rethink some things... or what about... "You mean you want our essays turned in? You're gonna grade them?" and my personal favorite... "I didn't know I had to have a book for this class"... These are things that worry me because these are common comments and simmilar people. The same person doesn't have a pen everyday and the same person forgets their book atleast once a week and everytime a paper is due someone is shocked to find out that it is actually being collected and graded... I do not mean every college student but this is how the rest of us are getting bad names... what is going on? I fear for America's future.
