I was talking to one of my sexually active friends one day and she said that if she ever got pregnant, she would get an abortion right away. I asked her why wouldn't you want to keep your baby or give the baby up for adoption. She said that she doesn't want to keep the baby because she doesn't have time to be a parent and she wants to go to college and be a free teen girl. Then she said that she would not consider adoption but consider abortion because why go through long painful hours of labor and give the baby away after all of that pushing. I thought that comment was horrible but who am I to tell her what to do with her body? She said that if she got pregnant she'd get an abortion and she go on with her life and keep having sex and she will probably get pregnant again. She told me if she does, she will get another abortion and only keep the baby if she was 20.
I told her if she keeps having sex, gets pregnant, and get abortion swhile under 20, when she actually is ready for a baby, she will not have one due to all of those abortions she will have had. She is a very emotional person and I can't imagine her getting plenty of abortions and going to the cluc afterwards. She will probably go into a deep depression. She is so worried about getting pregnant and all she was to do is become abstinent. She wears an absitinence ring but what good is that for?
There are so many misguided teens that do things such as having sex when they are not emotionally ready for it and itz consequences. Birth control is about 99% effective but she could be that 1% that gets pregnant or gets something worse like an STD. Also her partner might have an STD and he hasn't gotten tested yet but she's still with him but that's another story.
This blog isn't really about abortion is really about being a teen and doing things that you aren't ready for meaning that you can't deal with the consequences. Tell me what you think about teens like my friend and about this blog.
