THE ACT OF MOVING FORWARD TOWARDS A GOAL. That's what progress means.
FAVORING OR PROMOTING PROGRESS. That's what progressive means.
To me this is completely true and it doesn't only mean that one is all-for moving forward but that one really cares about what is going to happen in the future, about what kind of things will help us live better or make it harder, and about how the world is going to change. Hopefully the changes will be positive and all the problems that we are facing now will get fix by progressive minds taking a look at them. To me progress is made when something that is not right or that could be better is change into that better thing and when something keeps trying to improve its capabilities and that reaches out of its limits.
Progressive people like I said before are those who care about the future, who are willing to help themselves and the world move towards improvement, people who try to think on a positive way about the years to come, and also those who think on a futuristic way.
Progress is achieve with hard work and big ideas about how or what things should be, and ideas about reform.
A more political meaning would be someone that is liberal and that believes in strong civil liberties and people that are ready for change.
To me being progressive and understanding what it is is verry important because then one can help out and put ones minds to work for the better of the world.
