Enslaved--Our American Economy

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •

Ok, anyone can simply turn on the TV and hear the poor reports regarding our economy and the Fed. slashing interest rates. The liberal media informs us daily of the grave state of our economy and the usual scape-goat is the housing market. For some reason millions of Americans accept this information as truth. Is it, seriously? There are so many important events occuring and the media chooses to air stories about celebrities rather than truly relevant information.

America is not truly free. Our perception of the security of the all-powerful security and safety of the United States is an illusion. China owns us. We are deeply in debt to them. Every American makes inadvertently makes his or her own contribution to this problem on a daily basis. For example, let's take a look at this economic stimulus package. Citizens who paid taxes last year will receive checks for $300, $600, or $1200. America's current debt is over $9 trillion dollars. This begs the question, where is the money coming from. The answer, we are borrowing it from China. In reality, this program will be a huge success. We will definitely stimulate the economy--the only problem is that it won't be ours. Most Americans will take their checks and use them to purchase low-cost Chinese electronic items. Who am I kidding? I, too, would absolutely love a new HDTV or a PS3. Do you see the connection? We are using the borrowed money to purchase goods from our creditor.

This is only the tip of the iceberg, but it's getting kind of late right now so I'll continue this blog tomorrow...
