Me: Mom, are you embarassed by your life?
Mom: No...
Me: Why?
Mom: because I have a nice house, I live in a good neighborhood, my kids go to a good school and they do well, I drive a nice car. I think I've done pretty well for myself.
Everyone measures success differently. I always wonder different measures of success. For me I guess success is measured in how happy you are with your life, whether you can provide for your lifestyle and how hard you've worked to get where you are. The more shallow part of success for me is a good job, a promanent education. Not too shallow if you ask me. To attain this I believe you must excel to your fullest potential, no slacking or laziness. I don't think too many people (mainly the average American... or socialite) achieve my opinion of success. Do you agree, why or why not? You have to be a totally dedicated and driven individual to attain my measure of success. Or maybe just really smart. *shrug*
Anyway, how do you measure success? And do will you attain it? Can success even be measured?
Alright, so now I'm just taking up space because my entry is less than 200 words. I don't need 200 words to drive this point home... gahh, stupid minimum word requirement!
