Cars... the money that makes them go

I do not know anyone in the US who likes the gas prices, even though we have cheaper gas prices than some places in the world. People buy larger and larger SUVs and gas guzzlers sometimes and yet people wont stop complaining that gas is costing them to much money.

The only way gas prices will ever fall is if we stop buying the gas. Theres no shortage on gasoline, even though yes it technically does come from a nonrenewable resource. I am guilty of buying gas, I drive a car, just like practically all the rest of America. My point is if we do not want to be paying huge prices on gas maybe we should stop buying it.

I know what you are thinking, how will people get where the need to go right. Guess what there is a thing called public transportation which really is not that bad, I have used it. Yes it can be slow but it is an alternative. Maybe if we are spending as much money as we are on gas we should be more of active advocates for alternative fuel methods. There are a lot of solutions but in order for any of the solutions to work "we the people" have to work hard enough for them.
