The Forgotten Issue, Education

Tagged:

With the Nov. elections coming up in 8 months, the candidates, and Republican Nominee John McCain, are splurring out the issues that the American people "want to hear". But with topics like the Iraq War, failing economy, and health care, it seems that our next president, meaning that no candidate has spoken about this issue that much, has forgot about our youth and their education.

Our Education System is in shambles. We have spent so much for a war, but have spent too little on our youth education. We are behind many developed countries in education and it seems that the government has been too distracted to notice this. Education is one of the most important need to our youth. What makes them to be doctors, astronauts, politicians, and other careers is what they learn during school. But it seems that this issue is a "lost dog".

In Florida, we are experiencing teacher shortages, I would like to hear something positive to change that, but I haven't. More students our droppping out, I would like to hear somethign positive happen about this, but I haven't. Many seniors in high school have decent GPA's, but have diffecult getting into a university because they seek for students with 3.7 or 3.8. What does the government have planned for our youth? What can the American people do to help save our education system? Will I not be able to help my children go to college when it comes to that time?

Mr. President, Save us before it's too late!
