A black America for O'Bama?

This is so ridiculous. Now that I'm finally going to be old enough to vote in our next presidential election, I've been watching the debates, and listening to candidates and I've decided I am all for O'Bama. But how is this possible when I'm a young white female? According to polls he is ONLY appealing to "black America." What kind of stupid remark is that?

I have grown up to know and see every person for exactly who they are on the inside, regardless of skin color, race, ancestors, or anything else. I don't know if it's meant to help his campaign or not, but stating that O'Bama is for creating a better black America sounds very one sided to me. I mean the man has some great ideas for our country, plus he is young and might finally make a difference in our screwed up government; but just because he is African American doesn't automatically mean that he is going to appeal to "black America" any more than any other candidate. If that were true then I would surely be voting for Hillary because she is a white female. O'Bama has gotten ahead in the democratic primaries lately and I really think it's insulting how much the media is portraying him as the African American that could, or the man for black America. I realize it's in no way meant to be insulting, but just because he is black shouldn't make is less likely for him to achieve presidency, or any less believable, and just that, in my opinion, is how the media is making it out to seem.
