Ahhh, Britney Spears

Celebrities are everywhere. Everyday there are more and more celebrities, and more and more photographers that follow them, snapping pictures to sell to various tabloids and tv shows.

It's no wonder that they're all messed up.

I think most of us can agree that Britney Spears' condition hasn't been helped by her flock of paparazzi and their ever-flashing cameras.

And althought Heath Ledger's death wasn't a suicide, it's possible that his lifestyle helped lead to his premature death.

A new celebrity checks into rehab everyday.

The rich and famous are paid to show up at clubs to drink and party-hard all for the sake of publicity.

Am I the only one who sees how messed up all of this is?
Why do we care?

Personally, I don't see why we should care how all of these people live their lives. We don't even have the right to care. Everyone should have the right to privacy, and should be left alone when they're not working on their latest movie or album.

A picture of Brad Pitt pumping gas doesn't thrill me. And it shouldn't thrill anyone. I doubt that anyone wants to see a picture of you or me pumping gas.

But Brad Pitt?? Oh. My. Gosh.

It's ridiculous, petty and shallow.

Can anyone explain all of this? What's so fascinating?
