As we live our lives day to day we see a common trend on the news marquee, We see bodies being exploded. We see people with no health insurance dying. We see immigrants coming into this country illegally. We see an endless war go on which will continue well into the next presidency.
We read and view these things everyday. What can we do but just stand alone in a blank space, unknown. How do we live like this? It's kind of hard, to notice when we're so caught up in everything.
Although we are aware these things are happening, we really don't know. I mean, how can you? Everything is just fabricated and overlapping. The media doesn't do anything to help. Sometimes I am worried that we are taking the wrong steps in this country. It gets me dizzy.
Bob Dylan really conveyed life in a Time Magazine interview. He talked about the audience of Time Magazine juxtaposed with the author of the article that was going to be written about him. He said that the writer had no idea what his music is like. He just gets quota on his desk every morning and writes about it. He doesn't have any real idea. To describe real life would be to show a picture of a tramp vomiting in the gutter contrasted with (insert CEO here) going to work in the morning.
I just don't understand the actions of humans. I mean, I know we can't have peace and harmony but why do we have to go around like we're still cowboys. Hasn't Clint Eastwood's time already passed?
But what can I do, I'm just a kid. So, I'll just let all the problems mound up for this generation like everyone else.
"No one ever plans to sleep out in the gutter, but sometimes that's just the most comfortable place."
