LEGALIZE MARAJUANA

Why is pot not legal in the U.S.of.A?I often wonder.People consume liquor by the gallons and look at the dangers in that.Very rarely does pot warp someones perception to the point of vilonce, sucide and all kinds of other alchol related B.S.My husband is consumed with getting drunk.I would much rather him smoke weed he is so much more mellow. But guess what it is not legal and beer ect. is.

...none of them very good.

Marijuana was associated with 'lazy' Mexican immigrants and was charged with emboldening black men to look whites in the eye, among other heinous crimes of similar nature.

People were taught this sort of thing through public service announcements, the fact that hemp his one of the most useful plants on earth being thrown on the wayside.

Marijuana. I don't think there's too much wrong with it. There are way less DANGERS associated with Marijuana than there are with say regular cigarettes or alcohol. Tobacco is a cause of cancer and alcoholism can lead to violence and alcohol poisoning. Both are horrible and addicting. What makes Marijuana different? It's healthier by far than tobacco or alcohol. I don't see why we can't legalize it.

When I use to smoke sure I thought it should be legalized. Now I believe that it is like any other drug including nicotine, perscription drugs, illeagal narcotics ect. Sure it has madicinal purposes, they use it for glacoma, cancer patients, and other medical things also. But at the end of the day only you can say what is right for you. Alcohol is leagle but that does not mean I am going to have a drink it is not for me. It is about lifestyle choices.

The cool thing about lifestyle choices is that they are choices. At this point, smoking the reefer isn't a choice. If it were, anyone who chose not to smoke would have the freedom to not smoke, and those who do choose to smoke would be responsible for any consequences that might occur. Sounds like a win-win to me.

I like this subject. I agree that marijuana wouldn't be that bad if it were legalized. I find beer and cigarettes to be just as bad and repulsive. I know tons of people who have gotten completely messed up from there alcohol consumption and if they get in troublw with the police what happens? Nothing, they got to jail over night until they are sober and then released, but if you are caught with marijuana there is a chance your going to be staying in jail for a heck of a lot longer than just one night. Why? Marijuana isn't nearly as bas, as a former smoker I can say that it doesn't give you a head change nearly anything like what alcohol does. Cigarettes are even worse because look at the amount of people who have died from cancer from smoking cigarettes, but how many cases have there been of people dying from smoking to much weed? Just yesterday I was driving in my car and there was a middle aged man walking on the side of the road, not up on the curb but on the street and the road was nearly large enough for a car to get passed, he was crazy smashed you could tell, his faces was emotionless, and he had a bottle in his had, but yet again, alcohol is legal and marijuana is not.
