In all honesty, I'm not sure we should really place any sort of "limits" by exactly defining what kind of content to print.
However, I'm sure we each have our own expectations for a group like this.
As a heterosexual, I joined for a couple different reasons. First, I thought it would help me to really understand (in more depth) the current demands and obstacles of the gay community.
Also, I expected that the gay community might learn a bit from others.
I expect that there are a lot of things that can be done with this group. After all, this is supposed to be an alliance; I'm presuming to support equal rights. Perhaps activities and writings that would A) outline the alliance and how we are working together to further this cause or B) planning such activities.
