So I saw a video about animal testing from the Mars food company. Now what people do to animals is pretty sick because humans are just animals after all. However the animal people contradict themselves by saying that animals can't tell us if they're in pain so we should stop testing them. My question is since when did an animal walk up to you and say, "Hey buddy, nice life, huh?" Never, so the arguement about animals not telling us how they feel, doesn't work.
But I propose that since we take an almost sadistic enjoyment of testing things on animals, why don't we test them on humans? Sure, we're all animals, what makes it so wrong to test some poison on humans? In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with it. Yes, people are more highly evolved and can tell us what they feel, but so can animals; the animals just don't talk.
I'm really sick and tired of people thinking that they're above animals because we're really not. I have no problem eating meat just like a bear has no problem eating me. People have been eating animals and vice versa for thousands of years...and for all you evolutionists; millions. So I think that when we start testing out products we need to do it on people because it's really not right to subject animals to that kind of pain...even human animals. Yet, since these products are for humans, they need to be tested on humans.
Now the whole meating eating debate I'll blog about some other time, cuz PETA and all those nostalgic pre-meat eating organisations need to be let loose in the wild and see how long they fare on eating only plants.
