This blog is about a Russian man, Gary Kasparov being arrested by the Russian police during a protest against Russian president, Vladimir Putin. Kasparov is a Russian opposition leader and world chess champion.
He was convicted and sentenced to five days in jail for leading the protest. Why there was a protest is because different activists in Russia thought their elections weren't fair, etc.
Well, Russia obviously handle things differently than we do in the US because in the US, nobody gets arrested for starting or joining in a protest; but if it becomes violent, then the cops will arrest someone.
