Breast Cancer

This topic is about Breast Cancer, its symptoms, and how to prevent it from occuring.   Breast Cancer is a malignant growth that begins in the tissues of the breast. Its most common with women, but men can be diagnosed with it. The symptoms of Breast Cancer are a thick lump in the breast or armpit, a size or shape change with the breast, the nipple leaking with fluid, etc. Some lumps can occur due to hormonal changes; but if they keep becoming thicker, then it'll become a great deal of concern. If one breast is changing in terms of size and shape, then it's a sign that the breast is swelling up. Sometimes a nipple could get pulled in; but if it doesn't return to its normal state, then you should go visit your doctor about this matter.   How you can prevent yourself of being diagnosed with breast cancer is by eating foods that are rich in fruits and vegetables, stay fit, never start smoking, etc.   Why this is important to me is so I can lower my chances of being diagnosed with breast cancer. Why other people should read this blog is because of the same reason in the first sentence of this paragraph. I think both men and women should get screened for breast cancer because not only can women be diagnosed with it, but men can also. The Breast Cancer genes mean that Breast Cancer can be hereditary; also, there are two Breast Cancer genes, which are BRCA1 and BRCA2. They control cell amounts and fix damages to DNA. If one of the genes becomes destroyed, then it can't do its job. There are five treatment options for Breast Cancer; they are surgery, radiation, chemo therapy, hormonal therapy, and biologic therapy.
