Hi, everybody! I have a question; it might be a stupid question, but can I blog about a health topic? If I can, then is there any guidelines to follow, so that the points added from the blog won't get taken away?
Question about Blogging

Hi SLS...
Yes, of course you can blog about healthcare or health-related topics.
Some hints about making sure people will like your blog and that the "points" will count - would be to make a point.
For example, before you post the blog, ask yourself a question, "Why" is usually a good one. Read the blog and make sure you answer that question.
Like, "Why is this important to me," "Why do I want to talk about this health topic," "Why is it important for other people to read this?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"when you have nothing else to say, "Fwonk" is always the perfect thing."
"yeah well, fwonk"
One thing I also appreciate in a blog is to not just describe what they perceive as a problem, but also present a solution.
and to go further and think about the solution to determine if it is realistic (and show why it is realistic) and be prepared to defend a solution.
Hi SLS!
There is no such thing as a stupid question. Although many people say, that no one asks a question without some knowledge of the answer. No one will stop you from blogging about anything here at Progressive U. You can blog about anything you see in the news or issues that are important to you.
What we have tried to tell you over and over again is that the way you get "points" is by people reading your blog. The more reads you have , the more points you get for that post. For example, if I write a 100-hundred word blog on my favorite t.v. show and all I do is summarize that show, not to many people are going to be interested. This,however; doesn't mean you can't blog about a t.v. show. I could add other things like how the message the show is sending is positive or negative. It is the same thing with Health Care. Sure it is easy to write a short blog giving a definition, but if you write about a hot topic that is currently in the news and how you feel about it, you'll get more reads.
Just re-read the suggestions we've sent you and think them over.
"There is no such thing as a stupid question"- I agree. But there is such thing as a stupid answer...
I wrote one health topic myself. It's okay sometimes to write about other things besides politics or current events. Do you know what I'd like the most though? I'd love to see some comedy in blogs. It's really hard to find one on Progressive U. Actually, I think it is more challenging to write about serious issues with a sense of humor to get your point across.
You didn't have to respond to me because Fanaile Essence already answered my question.
