Do we appreciate the things our parents do for us?
My family is special to me, and when i was younger i didnt know how much my mom had to work to get me what i wanted/needed. Now i see what she goes through to keep this family on our feet and a roof over our heads. She works all day, really she does, and my mom isnt the only one, like my family, we are mexican-american/hispanic (however u want to call it) and as many people think, we are the poor ones. I dont consider myself poor, although financially we struggle, but im just glad to have the family i have.
What some of us dont notice or pay attention to is what our parents do, they work and the money they get, they barely even use it for themselves, they rather use it on us and on what we need. We need to appreciate them and say thank you! Seriously, they deserve it, they work their butts off for us, and the way i know im gonna repay my mom is by gettin an education and having a career, that way she wont have to work so much. We will grow older and have a family of our own, once that happens, you will see what it really is to be a parent, the sacrifices we would have to do as parents. Our parents deserve the best, just look at what they have been through, specially to those that have came from other countries, not only mexico, but from all over the world. We need to appreciate what they do for us...
