Can it be an article from news, or megazines, or does it have to be from my own words?
Can I make a poll too? if yes, how do you do it?
I've only started using this couple of days ago , so bear with me ! =D
It can be anything that you want to share, provided you do not violate the ToS. The ToS (Terms of Service) are outlined here. We prefer it if you do not post stuff concerning your personal life (unless something that happened sparked a thought about life, the universe, and everything), celebrities (unless you'd like to explain why they're going to jail), poety (unless it relates to something in current events), and music lyrics (unless you're going to analyze them).
Magazine articles, news articles, etc. are fine to share, but you have to meet the 100 word minimum (100 words must be yours) and you may not ever post more than 4 paragraphs of another persons work (whether you give credit to your source or not).
You cannot make a poll, that is a privilage that only members of the A-Team have. You have to be nominated at the end of the Spring Contest to become a member of the A-Team.

Are we allowed to flag people for posting blogs that aren't progressive?
You can, but it's kind of silly. You're better off just waiting until one of the A-Team catches it. It's not going to matter in the long run, because people who're going to win this contest aren't going to be people who post stupid things.
