Just proving the point of the last GOD SAVE THE YOUTH blog from before, if you Google one of the main centers targeted by the majority of anti-Gulag school websites and survivor sites, you will see that there is a GLARING discrepancy there. On the Aspen Achievement Academy website, student testimonials are as good as made up, having no names, ages, or identifiable information about who made any of the comments listed. The most disturbing part of the whole thing, to me, can be found here http://www.aspenacademy.com/2childhelp.html. This page lists all of the supposed reasons why parents should send their children away. Among those listed are three that just don't fit: ADD/ADHD, depression, and low self-esteem.

and, DEPRESSION IS A MEDICAL CONDITION, ask ANY doctor!!!
Last, but not least, one has to ask what young person living in the USA in today's society DOESN'T have low self-esteem? Answer me that! What these are dealing with aren't behavioral problems; they are dealing with LIFE as we know it, however unglamorous it may be. They need LOVE, not punishment.
