I'm tired -- tired of the bias, the lies, the agendas, and the subjectivity that has come to be firmly associated with global warming. It seems to be impossible these days to get an even-sided argument on the issue, since the advocates are so prominent and the dissenters are often manipulative.
So here's what I'm doing -- I'll be researching the issue and updating here with the things that I find. But I won't post anything as accepted fact -- instead, everything I suggest will only be a suggestion, open to criticism and examination.
We'll see how it goes.
But before I post anything, let me say a little bit about myself. I am conservative, so those I know tend to lean against global warming. However, I don't find myself favoring either side on this issue. Global warming, to me, is something that is definitely happening, but the exact reasons why are not entirely clear. Most scientists believe global warming is real and caused by humans, but some notables disagree. I think those noticeables are reason enough to give the issue some consideration. I think we need to take action to reduce carbon dioxide emissions regardless of whether they are the main factor responsible for global warming, and I have no liking for large corporations or oil. I am suspicious of both sides and the motives that drive them both.
Hopefully I'll prove to be less biased than most.
