The main source of emery that college students are lacking………
SLEEP
According to the National Sleep Foundation, “62% of college students do not get enough sleep.” College classes and activities a student are expected to accomplish each day are time consuming, but are well worth it when you receive your degree that you worked hard to earn.
College student lack of sleep stems from the over loads of classes and preparing for exams and tests. When I went to classes all day for 2 days, during my statistic class I would always fall asleep during the class for 20 min. and then I would wake up and finish taking notes. I think the Professor never said anything to me, because I always completed my homework and participated in class.
Even though college student are aware of the affect of sleep deprived and the strain it but on the body the next few days, but students have to be prepared for an exam. When I have an exam I usually pull an overnighter. When I have a test I usually try to get some sleep for the next day. But when some students do not get the right amount of sleep it causes the immune system to weaken. Causing the student to get a cold or other side affects. Do you get the right amount of sleep?
