I was just wondering whether or not anyone I contact can register to comment and whatnot, just to participate, but not sign up for the scholarship contest. Is this ok?

Absolutely, on your personal account information there is a box you have to check to be in the competition. IF at anytime you do not want to be in it you can uncheck the box. . . However I would encourage everyone to be a part of the competition because it truly is a great thing . . .
