North Carolina just passed a law that makes it illegal for kids under the age of 18 years old to use a cell phone while driving a car. I do not agree with this law. I can drive perfectly well while talking on my cell phone and there are a lot of times where I need to call someone while I am driving. There is no reason to be talking on the phone in the car. It is no more dangerous than driving while drinking a bottle of water and I doubt that will be outlawed. I hope this does not become a trend and pass through the states.
Cell phones do not distract you very much from driving, there is no reason to out law them.
Shold it be against the law to talk on a cell phone while driving?
