If you try to log in to your ProgressiveU account and it seems like you are only "partially" logged in, there may be a problem with the cookies* on your computer. Here are some of the symptoms of this problem: You don't get a password error when you log in, and you may see your user name in the lower left sidebar, but you don't have any menu options for creating new content.
Here's what to do if this happens to you:
- Internet Explorer: Go to Tools->Internet Options->General and select "Delete Cookies"
- Firefox: Go to Tools->Options->Privacy->Cookies and select "Clear Cookies Now"
You will then need to log out and log in again.
*Cookies are small files stored on your computer by your browser. Cookies created by by ProgressiveU do not store any of your personal information, but they are used by your browser to manage your log in session.
I'm glad this website is ran by technical computer geniuses to help the people who are clueless about computers. I know I grew up in the computer generation but I have trouble with the computers a lot.
