i have heard of this band before, but when I heard them on the radio for the first time today I realized I really liked their sound and vibe. The band is called Gym Class Heroes. They have been around for a little while (2 full CDs and then some misc. songs out there). What attracts me to them so much is they are classified as hip-hop and yet they have a tad bit of punkish rock. I think it really works for them and it is something we haven't heard yet. Another cool thing about them is their lyrics are very well thought out. Reading them is like reading thoughts that go through your head on a daily basis or philosophical ideas, or even the random pun. An example of some of the lyrics I have pulled from their website are:
