I disagree with embryonic stem cell research. I do not understand why the scientists keeps focusing on embryonic research when it has been shown that adult stem cells are as good, if not better to use than embryonic stem cells.
Doctors are persuading women to have abortions by telling them that their baby's stem cells can be used to possibly cure a cancer patient. But these women do not realize that their own stem cells that can be extracted without harm fom their nose can do the same thing. Stem cell researchers try to justify abortions by exagerating the significance of the stem cell research.
I'm all for adult stem cell research and hope that it may eventually cure horrible diseases. I just wish the government/scientists would stop misleading people into believing that that embryonic stem cells are better than those from adults.
