So this is my first post on this blog. I've also got myspace and blogspot, under the same screen name. I will probably mostly be duplicating posts here as this will not be my main blog... For two reasons:
1.) I'm firmly ensconced at blogspot. I wish that I could automatically duplicate my posts here, but I haven't found that option if it exists.
2.) I write about way more than just politics and progressive values... I have hobbies! Which really, when you get down to it, have a lot to do with my progressive values, but a lot of other people (like the people who run the scholarship) might not think so...
I also think that the 100 word minimum here is kinda stupid, guys... People should be able to write whatever they want in as few words as they want on their own blog... Another reason to stick with blogspot. I once wrote a post there that only said, "Random: I really like banana pudding," 'cause it's my blog and I write whatever I'm thinking, popular, relevant to the greater world or not, damn it.
So why blog here? For the scholarship. Nothing more, nothing less. And to get more people reading my thoughts on things. That would be nice. My other blog, while it gets foot-traffic... or "mouse-traffic" I suppose would be more accurate... very few people comment on anything... Not sure why... I may intimidate them, or they may just agree so much that they have nothing to say.
