What is the greatest Progressive Principle?

I have thought about what it is to progress humanity forward to a greater hight of understanding. I have thought about what this understanding that we have has done for us. I have thought about how the very people we model our learning & reasoning from (greco-romans), & what their learning did for them. & now with all that pondered I say, "wasn't king Solomon of ancient Isreal right when he said, 'vanity of vanities, all is but a vapor'?" I said in response to myself, "ultimately, yes! But that is the bottom line of our life on earth because will not endure forever. But while I'm here I want to learn." So I now think about ProgressiveU & it's principles & I think, "Man, this is a great idea. But what is the greatest point of progessing?"

I think about the idea of 'broad prosperity' & think, "It's a great way to think. Frankly beacuse if your countrymen win, so do you!" But then I think about 'shared responsibility' & say, "That's the ticket! If we all respect others & take our share of the responsibility, then we can see some social progress." Then about 'effective goverment' I pondered, "What if the goverment is the reason for our failures to progress? What if what John Maxwell said was right when he said, 'The lid of your sucess is the quality of your leaders'"? But then I thought about 'personal freedom'. I think (at lest in my personal experience) that people always fall to the lowest standard they see, unless they are driven eitherwise (internally or external). & then I said, "A better future, huh? That seems too broad to really help anyone! But yet, saying that you want to make sure knowledge is easily transferable to a younger generation. Then that's a great goal too."

Frankly, I think the only goals that sould be here is 'self-improvement' & 'improving others'. Because if you do that, the rest follow. But those are too broad & vague, huh?
