To me, a short post would be less than a hundred words and a long post would be almost like a full-blown essay.
I would prefer to read short post. Shorter posts are to the point and are obviously easy to read. Sure, shorter posts sometimes lack evidence, but that can be solved with the use of links to pertinent information. Longer posts are harder to follow and it is easy to get lost. Sometimes I tend to zone out and say forget it, I am not reading this when I encounter a longer post. This is why I believe shorter posts are better than longer posts.
