I'm struggling with it a little and was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions to study that will help me remeber it

Flash cards are always good. Doing diagrams to connect related concepts works well for me. Worked well for biochemistry, anyway. I also found that when I understand the concepts, I have a better time trying to piece together the more specific information.

try to have verbal, visual, and kinetic aid when studying. try reading and moving around when reading flashcards.
another great tip is to tell yourself that you are really interested in the subject and you are excited to learn about it. This will help the studying process go faster and you will retain more knowledge.
also make your study place comfortable and free of distractions.
