For my AP Government class we are supposed to choose a PAC or Interest group with a goal we feel passionately about and advertise it at school. I have chosen GLBT rights, but it's difficult to find such an organization that has some influence in out government. I was wondering if any of you knew about some. I really appreciate the help!

uhh sense you edited the blog the National Organization for Women also supports Lesbian rights.
so it still goes.
The Human Rights Council is a pretty active lobbying group. There's also the Anti-Defamation League (but they are not exclusively GLBT focused). I can think of more later, but there are two to start. I think HRC is probably your best bet.

I assume Ediblewoman means the Human Rights Campaign. I was very proud to watch on TV when Elizabeth Birch, who was from the HRC, spoke at the Democratic Convention in 2OOO when Al Gore was running. She was an excellent speaker.
