As I'm sure many of you know, Prop. 8 passed in CA. Prop. 8 was designed to change the CA Constitution to redefine marriage as being between a man and a woman. This news saddens me greatly, I have to wonder how the citizens of CA can allow this injustice to occur.

California was not the only state to ban gay marriage; Arizona and Florida did in this election as well. But, the margin it passed by was pretty low... something like 4 points, compared to over 20 points 8 years ago. We're making progress.
