Ha ha ha ha ha ha...

On the outside I laugh, but on the inside I cry.

In other words, I agree with you Dani. The election posts are driving me up the wall too!! I'm starting to see purple elephants and blue donkeys dancing around my room....that's not normal....although it IS a dorm room.

I think it is great to see all these posts about the election. It makes me feel like people nowadays actually are paying attention to what is going on. When I started getting involved in politics "a few years ago" I couldn't get a teenager or young adult to get active even if I paid them to do it.

It's sad, but I pretty much ignore those posts.

I can't wait for the elections to be over because I'm tired of turning to the news and seeing nothing but political banter. It's not even political media... it's whining crying arguing fighting and it's driving me nuts.

Can't I just see some news?

This is a progressive site. Voting is the most conventional social movement for progression we have. I know we've all read it before, or seen it on tv, but it's good to see passion for something that might actually make a difference. I'm all for people blogging about progress via potential elected officials.

I do find the media incredibly neglectful lately. The stories never change, and the real news is just barely mentioned. I saw a few seconds on the quake in Pakistan, a few on the US military pissing off Syria, and a whole bunch of repetitive election junk.

I agree that politics and the election are important, and it's great to see passion on the site, but in the real world, it's getting to be a bit much. It's ridiculous how there is nothing on the news except political banter. Oh, and the Caylee story.

I do agree with you but most the blogs aren't unique they are the same. That is what is annyoing me the most.

I usually do not read any posts that have to do with the election because lately the blogs or replete with trite arguements and commentary.
i would prefer something unique.
there is nothing wrong about posting about the election, but everything gets stale.
