Earth day in Missoula, Montana was wild. Preconceptions were dashed, premonitions were ousted, and privy green ideas and events were uplifted.

Theres nothing better then chilling outside with your friends and sucking on a popsicle. Finding the perfect hide and go seek spot, making leaf sandwiches while playing house, and shouting TAG YOUR IT then running off laughing.

Sunburnt in February

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

It is February 18. And I am sun-burnt.

Currently in College Park, MD, it is a balmy 71 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny. Did I mention that the date is February 18?

It's a beautiful day, and everyone is loving it. People are strolling around campus, reading outside, enjoying this unusual-- can we even call it winter? -- weather to the fullest.

In my little corner of the world Mother Nature has been suffering from Menopause. First she pissed off with the blizzard and ice, next day she is having heat flashes, before long the uber mood swings kick in for a wild day, and now she is bursting into tears. Unfortunately there is no way to get some hormone replacement pills to that woman.
