The Things They Carried - Soldiers and Vietnam

The draft and Selective Service process for all U.S. soldiers as well as African-American soldiers can only be understood and recognized by those who truly cared about the lives of the young men and women sent to Viet Cong to fight the internal and external enemy. I find that the enemy is determined by the experience of the person.

Stories from the dark continet, who really cares?

The contrasts between the so called third and first worlds are so stark one often wonders if this is the same planet. We have sent men to the moon but there are still children in Africa dying of preventable diseases. Women in the west are more and more progressive in society while in the Congo women are the battleground with rape used as a weapon of war.

Thank You, Veterans.

I'd like to use this blog entry to thank all the war veterans everywhere, and not just in America. War soldiers fight for our safety all the time. Whether we agree with the wars they are waging or not, it is definitely worthy of something to put your life on the line for a cause that you believe in.

The Communist Revolution and World Peace

The Bolshevik Revolution was a spark of hope for the human civilization amid the war and violence that plagued it for centuries. The October Revolution showed signs of a future society where human beings lived and worked together in a peaceful society. It was built on the idea of decentralized organization of a large group of people in order to produce what is needed.

When people put a limit on something terrible does that make it good?

We have long sense put laws prohibiting certain actions, well against the law. People when entering a war cannot do certain things because of the consequences.

When the Troops Donate

Tagged:

I believe that if you haven’t served in the war, you really don’t know what is happening over seas. We each have our own opinion about what should happen with the war. The troops are the only ones who know how the war is progressing.
