Superman Changes the US

On Thursady June 21 at Six flags Kentucky Kingdom a tragedy happened. It was nearly 5 in the afternoon as a 13 year old girl decided to ride Superman Tower Of Power. Just like any other guest that day she thought she would enjoy her 177 ft. plummet. As the ride reached the top of the tower the cable snapped, just as they began their free fall the cable swung and caught her legs. When she reached the bottom of the tower it was apparent both of her legs had been torn off. I have revised this into a shorter story, after reading many and watching news videos. I can't explain my sheer horror yet amazment at how something like this could have happend. Being a Six Flags employee at another park this is a story you never want to hear of.  Read More »
