This Sunday was 4/20. I know that you all know what that is, so I need not to explain. While I think that is one of the stupidest "holidays" ever, I know quite a few people who participate. Sadly, many participated this Sunday, while we were in Disneyland. I love Disneyland, it is a place of innocence and joy.
tradition
My dear Cliche,
Oh do I believe in dandylions?!
Surely Mother Noose knows me better
than that! And wrapped in gauze, I'll
find all my wretched worries. I would
shed a tear for yesterday, but it's best to
let some days go unmourned. If "God" had
a child, it'd be named cliche.

What do bunnies have to do with Easter???
Here comes Peter Cottontail,
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippidy hoppidy Easter's on its way...
Really, how did the "Easter bunny" myth and tradition come about? And why is it a bunny? The Easter bunny supposedly comes and hides Easter eggs for little girls and boys. I just don't get it. Bunnies don't lay eggs! And what's the deal with painting them? It makes no sense!

The Importance of Tradition
This morning I woke up, tired, and upset about leaving gleeful dreamland to enter my last day of spring break. Then I realized HOLY COW it's Easter!

The Great American Sweater
I own a light green sweater that I purchased based solely on the fact that its brand was Great American Sweater. It made me feel like I was participating in some grand tradition involving fireworks and stars-n-stripes stove pipe hats. Or campfires and fingers sticky from too many s'mores.
So am I proud to own a Great American Sweater? In other words, what is my attitude toward my country?

No More Flag Folding
At any military funeral, there are some things that you always expect to see. One of them is the traditional flag folding, where each of the thirteen folds is done with a recited line. Now it has been banned at the Riverside Cemetary in California.
