On April 31, I finally chose a college! I rushed over to my library and paid my admission fee and housing deposit. It was such a relief that after months of going back and forth between what college to attend, that I finally chose a college.

Scammed: Why Colleges Won't Accept Some Of Us
As May 3rd approaches, another grade of students are preparing for the most important test of their lives: the SATs. They have studied as much as they can; memorizing tricks, working on mathmatic skills, and improving their writing for their future. No amount of studying can prepare them for being tired and being in agony during a three and half hour long test.

Last week, in my history class, we had our first exam. That is the only class I have that day, so I spent the entire day studying to ensure that I knew the matierial. In addition to this, I had been studying for the past week for shorter periods of time. Upon receiving the test, I was pleased to discover that I knew the answer to almost every question. The girl next to me, however did not.
Kids are smarter than chimps! Didn't see that coming.

I'm not a test score.
I was walking in a parking lot several days ago when I spotted this really run down car, with loads of bumper stickers on it. I stopped and stared at it, reading almost all of them. I noticed one that said, "My child is not a test score". And on the spot, I completely agreed with this guy.
I'm not a test score. Test scores do not represent who I am and they shouldn't represent others.
But that's when I started thinking.
